After you set up your NANO, you can add node licences to put more of your machine’s capacity into service. The number a host can run is calculated from its measured hardware and network capacity: run the free rig check to see your result.
A licence covers one Light (720p) session: a Standard (1080p) stream uses 2 licences, Premium 4 and Ultra 6. Every NANO comes with 2 licences included, which run one Standard stream. Each additional licence is $125. The more powerful your gaming rig, the more licences it can run. A host needs a wired connection with at least 20 Mbps of measured upload, and the rig check tells you how many streams your line carries.
A licence is the right to run capacity on the network, and it stays on your account.
From the node management view in the web app, you assign your licences to your NANO.
How to get a Node License?
Additional licences cost $125 each from app.yom.net/node-sales when a batch is open. Licences are released in limited batches: a new batch of licences and NANOs opens when the network’s hosts are 60% busy, so new capacity joins as demand grows and the hosts already serving stay busy.
