What am I actually being paid for?
Compute served close to the person using it. A session is routed to your machine as the nearest qualified node, runs in a container that never touches your disk, and you are paid per session. Games today, inference next.
How much can I earn?
At the network's 50% utilization target, one node earns about ~$53 a month gross: a fixed share of each session fee, set in dollars and paid in $YOM. Electricity is your cost, roughly ~$12 a month in Europe.
What is a node?
A node runs one Standard (1080p) stream on two licences. A licence covers one Light (720p) session and costs $125; the NANO includes two. The free rig check measures how many nodes your PC runs.
What moves the number?
Three things move it: sessions offered (your online hours), how heavy they are (higher classes pay above Standard) and how many nodes your card holds. ~$53 is the model's figure at the network's 50% utilization target, not a floor.
Do I need to leave my PC on all day?
No. Downtime costs only the sessions you would have served. Each session goes to the nearest node with the GPU capability and free capacity it needs, so being online when players near you are playing is what counts.
Do I need to understand crypto?
No. The app sets up your payout account and payouts run without you. You only touch $YOM when you choose to.
