Node-as-a-Service (NaaS) is a way to put node licences to work without running your own PC. A provider runs the licences for the owner and charges a fee for the capacity it runs.
Why delegate
Delegation suits licence holders who do not own a gaming PC or would rather not use theirs for the network. The provider handles setup, monitoring and maintenance. The owner receives the operator share of each session the licences serve, set in dollars and paid in $YOM, minus the provider’s fee.
What a licence earns depends on how well the provider performs: providers that place capacity where players are and keep it online serve more sessions.
Frequently asked questions
-
Why do providers matter to the network? Providers add capacity where peak demand outgrows the home GPUs nearby, so players in those regions still get a node close to them.
-
Can I run my own licences instead? Yes. A licence stays on your account and you can always run it on your own PC with a NANO.
-
Are there fees? Yes. Providers charge a fee for the capacity they run for you. Check a provider’s terms first.
